FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything You Need to Know

HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?

We typically walk no more than 2-3 dogs from one family at once. If you have more dogs we recommend to split the booked time so that we can give every animal the attention they deserve. We don't bring our own dogs or combine dogs from families.

MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET WHILE IN YOUR CARE. WILL YOU TAKE THEM?

Absolutely. If a pet in our care shows any signs of illness we will take them to the vet for you. Vet costs are the responsibility of the pet owner, so please make sure to update your pets client card with the treatment amounts you are comfortable with. Before we take your pet to the vet we will reach out to you, however if we can't get a hold of you we will judge the situation based on our experience and decide always with the well-being of the pet in mind.

DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE IN CASE ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MY PET OR MY BELONGINGS?

Yes, we are bonded and insured by one of the leading pet sitter insurance providers in the USA. While we do everything to keep your pets and belongings safe, we want to provide you with peace of mind while your pets are in our care. We are also a proud member of Pet Sitters International to stay up-to-date on education and qualifications.

WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER DOGGY DAYCARE OR BOARDING?

We believe that staying outside the home adds stress to our pets lives while they are already missing their family. That's why we take care of your pets in your home. Additionally, in-home pet care reduces the risk of illness and injury.

CAN YOU PROVIDE ME WITH A BACKGROUND CHECK?

Yes, we can provide you with a copy of our background check at any time. If you let us know ahead of time we will provide you with a copy during our Meet & Greet.

DO YOU PROVIDE EVERY OTHER DAY VISITS FOR CATS?

No, as we believe that somebody should check on an animal at least once a day to ensure we can react quickly in case anything happens while they are alone.
